The Orleans Parish Criminal Sheriff’s Office has implemented a new state-of-the-art automated inquiry call center and customer service system, which allows the public quick access to up-to-the-minute inmate information. The new Interactive Voice Response System, which has a cost of  $61, 540.00, is the perfect solution to remarkable improvements within call center operations and customer satisfaction.

By implementing the new Interactive Voice Response System, the public is able to dial into the automated inmate inquiry system and quickly gain access to pertinent inmate information. Information is available in English and Spanish. Unlike some automated systems, the OPCSO Interactive Voice ResponseSystem allows you to transfer to an operator.

The OPCSO Interactive Voice Response System allows you to enter 2-digits for the last name and 2-digits for the first name to enter the inmate’s name. If multiple inmate names return from the 4-digit search entry, it allows you to choose the appropriate inmate by name and date of birth.

Some information returned include:

  • Charge Information
  • Inmate location
