The Orleans Parish Criminal Sheriff's Office has partnered with Operation Blessing and the New Orleans Mosquito & Termite Control Board. With the help of Operation Blessing, the Sheriff's Office was able to revive the Aquaculture Program to raise mosquito larvae-eating fish which the Termite & Mosquito Control Board utilizes to combat the insects and avert any potential health risks. The agency is targeting unattended swimming pools at storm-damaged homes.
